Final Girl Series 2: Once Upon a Full Moon

***IMPORTANT!*** This Feature Film box is not playable by itself and requires you to also own the Core Box.

Van Ryder Games Overview
Not every story ends happily ever after. This isn’t the Big, Bad, Wolf you imagined as a child. It’s bigger and badder than you could imagine. Can you slow the wolf down before it becomes fast enough to move anywhere on the board in a single turn? Featuring “hunt” and “slay” modes, the killer will take different actions depending on what mode it is in, making for yet another unique challenge for you to tackle!

Storybook Woods features a unique layout with a river running through the land. You’ll have to cross rickety bridges only you and one victim can safely traverse. Fairy tale events and items may be a magical miracle or a crippling curse. Will you get lost, or make it out of the woods alive?

Horror Movie Classification
Dark Fairy Tale / Werewolf Horror

The most obvious source isn't actually a horror movie—it's Little Red Riding Hood and the centuries-old stories surrounding the Big Bad Wolf.

Once Upon a Full Moon embraces the darker roots of traditional fairy tales, where wandering alone through the woods really could result in meeting something hungry.

For a cinematic comparison, the closest match is The Company of Wolves (1984), a dark, surreal horror film built around the imagery and themes of Little Red Riding Hood. It blends fairy-tale storytelling with werewolf horror in much the same territory explored by this Feature Film.

There's also some kinship with An American Werewolf in London (1981) through its transformation and wolf-horror elements, although the fairy-tale influence is much stronger here.

Closest Movie Comparison: The Company of Wolves (1984)
