This is the 128-page third-printing version containing fifteen pantheons. It does not include the Cthulhu or Melnibonéan mythos sections found in the earlier 144-page printings.

Condition Details

This is a heavily used vintage copy in Fair condition. The covers show substantial rubbing, scratches, scuffing, discoloration, edge wear, and exposed board at several corners. The corners are bumped, rounded, and frayed, and the spine has considerable rubbing and color loss.

The interior shows age toning, scattered brown spotting, and old moisture staining along the endpapers, page margins, and portions of the page block. The name “Stephen Howard” is written in blue ink on the front endpaper.

Scattered interior markings are present, including circles, X marks, and other small handwritten marks beside some entries. Portions of the Egyptian artwork have been colored or highlighted in yellow.

The binding and rear hinge remain firmly attached. No loose or stuck pages were reported. The final numbered page, page 128, and the rear blank leaf are present, strongly supporting completeness, though the book has not been checked page by page.

The book has an old-book or slightly musty odor noticeable at close range. No active mold has been confirmed.

This copy is best suited as an affordable reading, play, or reference copy rather than a collector-grade example.
